There are several software packages available that deliver the same basic functionality. What makes Power Flash stand out is the level of sophistication not found in the other programs. Below are several examples of the advanced features Power Flash offers. These are just a few of the many features inside Power Flash.
Businesses are tracked, along with every individual contact within that business. Power Flash does not simply create a single customer record for a business, as most other packages do. If you send marketing material to "IBM, 123 Main Street, Anytown, USA", it most likely will get lost in the mailroom. And would you only send one piece of material to a large company? Power Flash allows you to send marketing materials directly to each person. "Peter Sellers, IBM, 123 Main Street, Anytown, USA" is much more likely to wind up in your customer's hands.
You can view complete information about each business, down to each individual and their own ordering habits. Spending limits can be set by the corporate management, and they can manage their entire corporate accounts on-line!
Power Flash offers a complete corporate account tracking system. Similar to QuickBooks, orders can be charged to a corporate account, and billing statements can be generated on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. Every order is tracked until it is paid. Spending limits can be put on the corporate account, and even on individuals within the company. Automatic notifications can be setup to be sent to as many people (managers, accounting, etc.) as required. These notifications can be sent whenever an order is places, delivered, or on a scheduled basis, and this schedule can vary for each person notified. (For example, management may want daily notifications, while accounting needs them only weekly.)
Pharm Reps are tracked extensively in Power Flash. Power Flash maintains a list of your Pharm Reps separately from the medical facilities. This ability gives you the ability to better market to both your pharm reps and the doctors' offices. It also allows you to better help your Pharm Reps plan their meals. For example, if Doug from Glaxo wants to deliver Chili's to Dr. Brown on Friday, you could easily look up and determine that another Pharm Rep had delivered Chili's to Dr. Brown on Wednesday, and suggest an alternative to Doug.
Power Flash has the ability to manage multiple reward systems for your customers. Points may be awarded whenever a customer orders, based on the size of the order or the number of times the customer orders. The number of points awarded can vary by type of the order (Call Center or On-Line, or Delivery or Takeout). They can also vary be restaurant. Rewards can be redeemed on-line for any number of prizes that you create inside Power Flash. They can also be redeemed (if you want) for Gift Cards inside Power Flash. You can setup reward programs for your Pharm Reps as well.
Power Flash allows you to create as many different order templates as you need. An order template defines what appears on the order printout, email, or fax when sent to a customer or restaurant. Different templates can be used when viewing an order, sending an order to a restaurant, sending an order to a customer, or printing an order.
Each template can be defined to include a Restaurant Copy, Driver Copy, and/or Customer Copy. The different copies can each include different data. There are over 50 different options for data that can be included on each copy.
This is very handy when you have some restaurants that want a restaurant copy when others don't care. More importantly, you may choose not to send your customer information to certain restaurants. (You can even set the system to now send the customer information only for certain customers or certain sized orders.)
Power Flash has a very advanced promotion system built in. You can create an unlimited number of coupons, and can be very specific about how those coupons can be used. You can limit the number of times that a coupon can be used in any period of time, limit it to Call Center or On-Line orders, limit it to Takeout or Delivery, limit it to certain restaurants, and even limit it to certain items in a restaurant.
Coupons can be used to give away flat or percentage discounts, free deliveries, gift cards, or even a list of items to choose from! For example, if you order a Deluxe Hamburger from Pete's, the customer could be offered an order or fries or onion rings.
Coupons can be automatically applied to orders, or they can be setup to require the customer to have a coupon code. Most importantly, Power Flash has a ten-level priority system built in that allows you great flexibility when determining what (if any) coupons can be used together on the same order.
Every delivery program allows you to create menus for your restaurants. But Power Flash takes this much farther. You can create a single menu and use it among multiple restaurants in a chain. You can assign multiple menus to a restaurant. (For example, Chili's may have a single main menu, but individual stores may offer different dessert menus.) You can even assign different menus for takeout and delivery.
Each menu item can have as many modifiers assigned to it, and modifiers may be nested as many levels deep as needed. Nesting is a handy feature not available in some other programs. For example, your modifier may be Soup or Salad. IF the customer chooses Salad, THEN (and only then) would you need to ask what salad dressing they want. Each choice can have a weight assigned to it, allowing you to offer something like "Pick Three Sides (but Baked Potato counts as two)". You can set the system to give away a certain number of sides, or only charge for a maximum number. (Pick Two Sides. But if you want more, pay the difference. Or pick as many sides as you want, but you will only be charged for a maximum of 5. Some pizza chains do this.)
Restaurant Chains can be identified inside Power Flash, allowing your dispatcher to move an order from one restaurant to another in the chain with the click of a mouse button! This comes in handy when your dispatcher determines that a driver is closer to another branch and can deliver the order faster from that location than the original.
Power Flash has an extensive security system built in. Access to every individual function in the system can be controlled, both on an individual or group level. You can define as many different security groups as you want (CSR, Manager, Owner, Salesperson, etc.) and limit access to any function by the group. Every employee may be assigned to one or more groups.
Power Flash has a complete Gift Card tracking program built in. Gift Cards can be sold, reloaded, and used multiple times, both in your call center an on-line. Gift Cards can be assigned to a specific customer, allowing that customer to automatically apply that gift card to any order, or the gift card may be used by anybody like a credit card if they have the number.
Power Flash allows a customer to order from multiple restaurants on a single order. In fact, there is no limit to the number of restaurants that can be included on a single order. (Of course, if you do not want your customers to be able to do this, you can turn this feature off!)
Power Flash allows customers to split payments as many different ways as needed on an order. There is no limit to the number and types of the splits.
Power Flash is one of the few packages that offers Group Ordering, and is the only program that offers the level of sophistication in our Group Ordering System. Your customers can create and maintain multiple mailing lists for their company. Each list can be private to the manager who created it, or can be made available to other managers in the company. When a manager creates an order, he can choose one or more restaurants, set individual spending limits, and decide whether or not to allow invitees to go over the limit if they pay the difference. (We had a company that wanted a hard limit to every order, and they did not want the employees to go over even if they paid. It seems that the employees were going over and using their company expense credit cards to pay the difference!)
